It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda DeLapp Twitty on June 1st, 2024 in Maryland. Linda was born on October 18th, 1957 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and spent her early years in Somerville. Linda studied science and became an Environmental Chemist at Exxon Biomedical Sciences where she met her husband. Linda and Marc wed on November 8th, 1986, and spent 37 wonderful years married and had two daughters together. Throughout her lifetime, Linda resided in Midland, Michigan, Moorpark, California, Mill Creek, Washington, and Germantown, Maryland.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Vollrath, and her father, Bernard “Bucky” DeLapp. She is survived by her husband Marc, and daughters, Jennifer and Kristen.

Linda was a loyal and devoted mother to her daughters and a supportive wife to her husband. She embodied love and endless compassion throughout her life, always putting others before herself, lending a helping hand whenever needed, and caring deeply for everybody she met. Her close bond and dedication to her family were unparalleled and evident to anyone who knew her. Her ability to provide comfort, support, and love made her an exceptional mother and wife, a role she embraced wholeheartedly and gave her much pride and joy. She created cherished memories everywhere she went and touched the lives of so many over her lifetime. She was an exemplary human being.

Linda will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, love of family, happy personality, and generous heart. She brought joy to everyone around her. Her laughter and ability to make everyone feel cherished will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Linda. Your memory will remain in our hearts and be treasured forever.
