Services for 60 year old Linda Threadgill Popp of Newbern, Tennessee, former of Steele, will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home in Steele with Rev. Charles Clark officiating. Visitation will begin at noon and continue until service time. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele. Linda Popp passed away on September 10, 2022 at West Tennessee Healthcare in Dyersburg.

Linda Diane Threadgill Popp was born on July 28, 1962 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Eugene Threadgill and Shirley Glidewell Threadgill. She passed away on September 10, 2022 in Dyersburg, Tennessee at the age of 60.

She graduated high school in Steele, Missouri, with the South Pemiscot Class of 1980. She had been employed as a secretary in a military recruiting office. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Three sisters: Sharon Gilmore and Willie of Paris, Tennessee

Debra Scallion and Randy of Senatobia, Mississippi

Karen Hicks and James of Senatobia, Mississippi

Three brothers: Michael Threadgill of Steele, Missouri

Ronald Threadgill and Stacey of Alton, Illinois

Brandon Threadgill and Rita of Steele, Missouri

And several nieces and nephews
