All I can say is growing up with Lynn was never a dull moment, I remember when I was young her and I each were walking, me from the farm, her from the house in South Plainfield. We were meeting in the middle, somewhere on Woodbrook Farm. So she meets me and we were going to finish walking to Grandma's house. Along the way I find a box of abandoned kittens, I grab the box and Lynn is like Gerri Ann leave them cats alone, me being a kid and wanting to save all the animals, I'm trying to reason with her such as they are going to die, no shade, etc. So I carry the box with Lynn going on and on about how Mommy (she never referred to Grandma to me as Grandma, it was always Mommy) is going to be mad and I'm going to be in big trouble. No sooner did we get in the house and Lynn is telling Grandma that I brought kittens home and Lynn knew Grandma would be upset and how Grandma needs to punish me for not listening. Grandma turned around and said leave the kittens and box outside Clean up and go down stairs and check the downstairs bathroom we have company coming over. I silently laughed and did what I was told as did Lynn and boy was she really mad at me after that. To this day I don't ever remember what happened to those kittens. Another funny story is when Grandma and Grandpa resided at Tingley Lane. Ann and Lynn had a bedroom right above the dining room. Their closet was a step up (old closet). Grandpa and I were at the dining room table and Grandma was in the kitchen and the next thing you hear is a noise and Lynn's legs dangling from the dining room ceiling (she fell through the closet and sheetrock). Grandpa was yelling Dot and I was laughing as she was holding herself up. There are not a lot of years that separate us as Aunt and niece, we would bicker, but it was always short lived. but we always had the best time. Her and Ann were inseparable when we were younger with Ann driving and taking us everywhere and anywhere.; McDonald's was a top lunch spot, visiting family, going to Flemington or Lynn just coming over to the farm and hanging out when Uncle Donald also lived with us. Life and miles may have separated us and we may have had our disagreements in life, but I am thankful I called her last week and got to catch up, I'll share some photos. If anyone wants any copies feel free to let me know.

Aunt Lin was very special to our family. We feel blessed to have had her in our lives and in our children's lives.
She never missed a birthday or holiday when it came to our kids- so incredibly sweet and thoughtful!
There would be a heads up that cards were on their way and then there they were- in our mailbox with a pound of scotch tape on each keeping them sealed! ( Must be a Staskiewicz thing with the excessive amount of tape for everything!)
They were always the coolest cards too! I let her know recently that she gave the best cards cause they really were the best.
I'll miss giving her a random call, hearing her answer "Hey Deb!" And when she would text it usually read, "Hey Dad..." which made me laugh every time.
R.I.P
We love you!
