Linda's obituary
Linda Katherine Prickett passed away unexpectedly in her sleep April 12th, 2023 reuniting with the love of her life.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Linda was born in Murray, Utah on October 8th, 1949 where she grew up with three sisters and four brothers.
She then met the love of her life, Royston Prickett, whom she married and had two children, son Michael Prickett and daughter Annette Prickett. She made her home in Taylorsville, Utah.
Linda retired from a long career in electronic assembly at DOD/Digitech and Rolls Corporation.
She was very excited to become a grandmother in 2010.
Her grandson, Quinton was her life. She loved just being with him. Baking and cooking. Playing games with him, reading and attending his school programs and football games, always cheering his name proudly.
Linda also enjoyed traveling with her family. Her travels took her to England, across Europe, on many cruises and to Hawaii.
She had a great sense of humor and her laugh was infectious. "Mom" jokes were her favorite.
She always held her family very close to her heart. She was always there for them whether it was celebrating an accomplishment, or there in hard times for comfort or to offer advice when it was needed.
Linda will always be remembered and hold a piece of our hearts forever.
She is survived by her son Michael Prickett (Kandi Prickett), Daughter Annette Prickett, grandson Quinton, Sister Mary Martinez, brothers Larry Padilla, Del Padilla, Ronald Padilla. She is preceded in death by husband Royston Prickett. Father Filimon Padilla, Mother Virginia Padilla, brother Johnny Padilla. Sisters, Maria Padilla and Romey Harris.
