Background
Miss Linda was a beloved teacher’s aid at Freedom Trail Elementary for many decades. She was a woman of the Lord, a devoted wife, dedicated mother and grandmother.
Linda was honest and true but she did have one little secret.
It broke Miss Linda’s heart to see a child without lunch. Following her heart, she would quietly pay lunch balances for her students in need.
We only found this out after we lost her, but it did not surprise us one bit!
We know she would be delighted to know that we remember her by blessing a child with nourishment.
Thank you for loving our “Memaw”, sweet Miss Linda. Thank you for honoring her memory by blessing a Freedom Trail Elementary student with the gift of lunch.
We wish all kids got to feel the safe embrace of Miss Linda. In this small way we will carry on her legacy of kindness. Contribute
