Linda, you were a great friend to my father and he loved spending time with you. We really enjoyed the Christmas we spent together. Thank you for your comfort during his passing.
My sister and I are saddened to hear the news, you were so kind and always smiling. We will always remember you that way.
My sincere condolences to the family. I have known Linda for over 30 years, first as a casual employee then as a friend. Over the years, Linda and I conversed on many subjects and circumstances. Rest now Linda, you will be missed.
I was fortunate to be Linda’s next-door neighbour on Greenwood Point Road. Over the years, we shared many neighbourly visits, glasses of wine on the dock, and meals together. She was not just a neighbour but a friend.
What I will always cherish most is her kindness and unwavering support during my husband's illness. She often reached out to check on me, both during his illness and after his passing. Her thoughtfulness meant more than words can express.
I will always remember Linda’s vibrant smile, twinkling eyes, and her incredible zest for life. She brought warmth and joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed.
Our lovely neighbour Linda was always smiling, always pleasant and friendly. And she was always taking care of herself. She frequently walked our country roads and was a regular swimmer. She went to the pool in Gravenhurst for aqua-fit most mornings. But we most enjoyed watching her swim by our dock en route to her brother’s cottage (a rather long swim!). We could see her coming and going since she trailed a colourful pool noodle behind. It always made us smile and wave — but think of the clever practicalities: She could be seen from boats and had something to rest on if she needed to. She never did.
Linda will be missed by our Greenwood Point and larger community. Condolences to her family and friends.
