Linda was born to Bettie Faye and Stephen Peter Ogryzlo on February 10, 1945, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, during the heyday of gold mining in the area. She joined her two older brothers, Charles Thomas ("Tom") and James Stephen ("Jim"). When she was eight years old, the family moved to the Eastern Townships of Quebec and then in 1957 to Willowdale, Ontario. She attended …
