Linda's obituary

Linda Marie MacLeod went to be with the Ancestors on November 25, 2021 at home in her sleep, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Linda was born on September 3, 1955 in Santa Ana, Orange, California to the late Rose Marie Allen and Neil Louch MacLeod.
Linda had one son and there was no love more than Marc A. MacLeod and her only granddaughter Honora L. MacLeod. This was Linda’s world, her devotion, compassion, and unconditional love was first and foremost loving these two and always being the very best mom and grandma that she could be.
She left behind 3 brothers Bruce Spencer, Robert MacLeod, and David MacLeod.

Linda loved to attend the Scottish games and the Celtic fairs. She loved and was so proud of Clan MacLeod and her heritage.

Linda had a love for antiques and restoring old antique chairs. She even learned how to do caning, which is weaving to restore the seats of chairs. She learned to do felting, stained glass, and did it all beautifully. Linda also loved the outdoors, she loved to hike but especially her Mother’s Day hikes with her son, and she loved to Kayak. Linda also loved to garden fresh organic vegetables and herbs. She made a beautiful organic landscape of her home, with beautiful flowers, rock formations, and she loved her yard art.

If Roses Grow in the Afterlife

If roses grow in the afterlife,
Gods, Goddesses, and Ancestors please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I’ll do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

Linda leaves us to cherish her loving memory that all will be remembered, and now she will be with her ancestors!
