My condolences to all of Linda's family.
I first met Linda when when she hired me as a pet sitter for Mr Whiskers. Bob had just started his truck driving career with Swift and Linda wanted to be able to go on the road with him. So she needed someone to take care of her cat. We became fast friends as we shared a love of General Hospital, the internet and medieval groups. In fact we joined a group called the Rogue Warriors where we befriended many like minded people who enjoyed medieval stuff, some who we were both friends with to this day. She was such a loving, compassionate friend who was more like family to me and my own family. The last time I saw her was before she left for SC. We went for breakfast at the Spirit River Cafe in Apple Valley. We had a fun breakfast, talking and enjoying each other’s company. Although we haven’t had much communication the past few years, she was always in my heart. I can’t believe she is gone. RIP my sweet friend. You will be so greatly missed. ❤️

So much to say about my grandma but there will never be enough space to write it all. I was her first grandchild and she loved me so much!
I remember many summer breaks spent at her house. She would make a huge picnic and take us to the park with homemade macaroni salad and sandwiches and sit on a blanket watching us play all afternoon. She inspired my love for reading. I was obsessed with books and would read faster than we could buy them. She worked at a bookstore and would bring boxes of books for me to read. Holidays were spent at her home where she would make my favorite deviled eggs and banana pudding for dessert. I loved her cooking and still trying to replicate her macaroni salad recipe.
As an adult she called me often and visited as often as she could. We enjoyed many Disney trips together. She adored her great grandchildren and always giving me advice and sending gifts for them.
When she moved to South Carolina it was hard for all of us. In July of 2020 we decided to surprise her with a visit. I will never forget the look on her face when I walked in. We both cried! She was so proud to show us around Rock Hill. She was so happy. The next few visits were bedside and she would talk for hours. I will always regret I didn't get to visit more and wish I could hear her voice one last time.
She was the best grandmother and I was so lucky to have her. I'm a grandmother myself and I had an amazing example and try to be just like her 🥰 Big shoes to fill but she trained me well.
