Linda's obituary
Linda Lee Gift (née Migliozzi), 76, of Panorama City, California, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026.
Linda was born in Toluca Lake, California, to Grace and Frank Migliozzi. She grew up in North Hollywood alongside her siblings, Nicholas and Joyce, and remained a lifelong resident of the San Fernando Valley, a place she cherished and called home.
She began her career at Bank of America, where she dedicated more than 30 years of service. After retiring, Linda embraced a second career with Medtronic, where she found great fulfillment helping others on their medical journeys and forming lasting friendships.
Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Steven Martin; her son, Anthony Gift; her beloved granddaughters, Grace Gift and Emma Martin; her brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Pam Migliozzi; her nephews, Gary Cote and Richard Migliozzi; and her niece, Donna Locriocchio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Frank Migliozzi; her sister, Joyce Cote; and her niece, Debbie Patterson.
Known for her warmth and generosity, Linda expressed her love through caring for others. Family gatherings were among her greatest joys, and she was always happiest sharing meals, laughter, and insisting on picking up the check. She adored her granddaughters and took great pride in their accomplishments, often sharing updates with friends. In her retirement, she treasured the opportunity to be closely involved in Grace’s childhood, never missing a dance recital or special event.
Linda also had a deep love of music and a beautiful singing voice. In her teenage years, she performed in a band and even recorded a song, an experience she fondly remembered throughout her life.
Linda had a special love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Molly and Sonny, whom she loved to the moon and back. They were a cherished part of her life and brought her endless joy and companionship.
Linda will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s honor to the ASPCA, reflecting her lifelong love of animals.
