Linda's obituary

Linda Kirvel, born on September 29, 1947, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, in Akron, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lee Archer and Tim Archer. Linda is lovingly remembered by her husband, Eric; her children, Ann (Paul) Ratay, Adam Boedicker, Becca Lenk, Eric Kirvel, Adam Kirvel, and Brent (Becca) Kirvel; her sister Pam Archer; her brother Jim Archer; as well as her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Linda dedicated 26 years of her career to the insurance industry before transitioning to work as a transcriptionist, a role she found particularly fulfilling. She had a passion for genealogy and research and enjoyed reading and spending cherished moments with her family.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, Linda donated her body to the Cleveland Clinic Body Donation Program to support the advancement of medical science. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name can be made to local animal shelters, rescue groups, or the ASPCA.
