I worked with Linda at O’Melveny since she started there in 1988. I was hoping that when I retired early last year, Linda will follow since we talked about it so many times. On my last day at work, I remember telling her, “Hey, it’s your turn.” She replied with the smile “don’t worry, it will be soon!” Last Christmas Eve, she called me with some good news, “Guess what, I just retired!” I was very happy for her that day, and we talked for such a long time and promised to get together with the rest of our O’Melveny friends later. She was so excited telling me that she just returned from her Europe trip with Collette and how she is so relieved not having to go to work. That was the last time I talked to Linda – and I am so glad I had the chance to chit-chat with her one last time.
As we look forward to having another get together with our friends, it will be very different without Linda there. We will miss the fun and laughter we shared. Linda is one happy person – bubbly, joyful and always fun to be with. She is also a good storyteller. Linda loves her family so much and talks about them all the time. She is very proud of Collette and her accomplishments.
We offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to her family, especially Collette. We are comforted that Linda is in a better place – with her Creator. Rest in peace Linda. We miss you.

Tita Linda has always been, and always will be the embodiment of the Holiday Spirit. Her bigger than life personality inspired me to be the woman who I am today. I am proud to have been fortunate enough to move from the Philippines, to her lovely home in Glendale California. She welcomed my family when we first emigrated, and became my Sunday routine to play Mahjong with Lola Dida.
She is my Christmas, my Thanksgiving, my every American Holiday-- most importantly she is someone who has provided me so much comfort and support.
Thank you so much for everything you have provided for us Tita Linda.
Holidays will never be the same without you.
Love you always, and forever.

My deepest condolences to Collette and the entire Jimenez-Quintero family. Linda was one of my dearest cousin and friend. We would share each other’s thoughts, stories and experiences of the day through almost daily phone conversations. We would spend weekends together doing what we like best- savor different cuisine and watching shows, concerts and movies. I will invite her to be one of my judges to the Lions International Students Speaker Contest where high school student will be rewarded of a College Scholarships. I also invited her to be part of the Pinay Brunch, a loosely organized group of Filipinas whose objective was to come together to celebrate and support our young Fil-Ams who wants to make a difference by running for elective office in the State of California. Success was achieved by having Pinay Mayor of the City of Artesia, City of Sierra Madre and recent election for State Assembly for District #52 which included the City of Glendale of Jessica Caloza.
I will miss Linda deeply but I know she is in a better place. She is now my angel looking after me from heaven. I will truly miss the love and care. Thank you for all the beautiful memories.
