Linda's obituary

The world became brighter on January 3, 1947, the day that Linda Dale Hoskinson was born. That light continued to shine throughout her life. Linda sadly passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 75. She lived in Kingman, Arizona. She passed away peacefully, at Kingman Regional Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones.

Linda was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness to everyone she ever knew. Her love of life, laughter, caring and compassion were without measure. Her enjoyment of travel, dancing, and spending time with those close to her, was the spice of her long and happy life. She never met a stranger, connecting with everyone she encountered in her daily life. She was a devoted family member and friend, and will be sorely missed.

Linda was pre-deceased by her first husband, Joe Townsel; her second husband, Jerry Thompson; her parents, Dale and Beatrice Gates; her parents-in-law, Harmon and Freda Townsel; and six of her eight siblings: Oscar Lumpkin, Thelma Skok, Ann Monahan, Arnold Gates, Chuck Gates and Liz Hayden.

Linda is survived by her husband, Mike Hoskinson; her son, Joey Townsel; siblings Burl Lumpkin and Mary Boyd; step-daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Patrick Jorden, Cathie and Scott Berglund, Sharon and Kyle Nelson, and Michelle and Charles Gastil; and grandchildren, Jeremy Berglund, Amelia Berglund, Abigail Nelson, Scarlett Nelson, Rowan Gastil and Ash Gastil.
