Linda and Greg were 2 of the first people we met when we moved to Huntersville in 1994.  And in fact, their daughter, Lauren and our daughter, Kenan became friends through swimming and North Meck!

Linda helped me professionally when we both were CDC’s in CMS!  Linda was witty, funny, and always willing to answer my CMS questions.  I always looked forward to sitting with Linda during CDC meetings and we may have not been the best listeners!  Ahh, the memories!

Our lives mirrored yet again, over the love of our “LBD”, Boykin Spaniels!  I hope you still have one, Megan!  We do!

Dear Gift family, I hope you find comfort in some small way, through your many memories of a very special woman!

Linda, I will Miss You!

May Linda rest in peace.  All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We are so very very saddened by your loss of a fantastic wife and mom and kick ass friend. Linda, we will miss you! Love , the Vollen

Greg, sending you and your family our thoughts and prayers! Linda was such a kind and beautiful person inside and out! She was always fun loving and a joy to be around. She will be missed!
Linda was such a precious soul. I had the pleasure of knowing her, Lauren, Joey and Greg. I loved anytime a member of the Gift family came into the office, especially Linda.  Linda was so fun and happy and always a joy to work on. You are not suppose to say you have favorites but she definitely was one of my favorites at the Dentist office. She will be greatly missed.
So sorry for your loss - wishing you a more peaceful year ahead. You are in our thoughts.
Deepest sympathies to you all.  Sending all our love and prayers during this difficult time.

Good times in Giftville and Harrisville — with Greg_Linda Gift

I was so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. It hit me harder than I thought. Linda sat behind me in typing class at East Mecklenburg, and I had such a crush on her. She was always smiling and laughing. And when I got up the courage to speak to her, she was kind and funny.

I would think fondly of her at odd times in my life, and wish her a good life. It sounds like that was the case. My most sincere condolences and prayers.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom. Lauren, Stephen and Megan, you have my deepest sympathy and many prayers!!!
Sending lots of love and deepest condolences to the entire Gift family during this difficult time of loss and transition ❤️
So sorry Gifts. Stella was such a light and loved by so many! The Slatons send our love 💕
Linda was a stellar co-worker and friend. There were plenty of days that I would stop by Linda’s office. She had a fun-loving personality and always brightened my day. It was fun getting to know Joey my first year of teaching and then having Lauren and Stephen in Marketing Ed. I will miss Linda greatly; however, I am glad I have such fond memories of her. Much love! 💕
Prayers and much love to all of you. Your LBD family is here for you always. Much love ❤️
I’m so sorry for your loss. I just have memories of a big smile and positive energy as a child in our soccer days.
Mrs Gift always had a smile and a joy for what she was doing.
