Linda was always such a bright spot in any room she entered. Her fun personality was infectious and you couldn't help but laugh with her. Her kind and beautiful soul will be greatly missed! My deepest and most heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to all of her loved ones today and all of the days forward as you navigate through this very emotionally difficult time. RIP sweet Linda

For me, Aunt Linda was like a second mother. My mom's twin, she was never afraid to tell me what to do or give me orders, regardless of how old I was. At times, it was slightly confusing for me, but I was sure to always comply because Aunt Linda just had a way with people- all people. A few years ago, I was able go to dinner with Uncle Chris and Aunt Linda at nice restaurant in my current city of Washington D.C. As the assimilated local rather than tourist, I was able to give them less well known tips on the area. It was wonderful to just spend time with just the two of them outside of Colorado. I will cherish this memory as one of the most personal to me with Aunt Linda as her presence was so bright and refreshing in the otherwise rat race that is D.C. As I now recently became an uncle myself, I plan to implement the essence and lessons from Aunt Linda to my new nephew. Her energy will be sorely missed.

I work for FHU and am part of the marketing team. However, I am in the Nebraska offices so my collaborations with Linda were not very regular because of my location. When we did have a chance to interact it was often about proposals or workload. Linda knew how to get things done and prided herself on the work she produced. FHU was lucky to have her! I sadly did not know the personal side of Linda like her Colorado coworkers did. Your beautiful video captured a rich life filled with love, family, and adventures. Thanks for giving me a glimpse of the real Linda and what made her heart happy. It was a truly lovely tribute.

Linda was a true gem. I met Linda in 2007 at work, and we continued to work together for the next 13 years. The hardest part of leaving that job recently was not seeing her every day.

My favorite quality of hers was that she was just so unapologetically Linda. She was direct with her words and was quite possibly the most detail oriented person I’ve ever worked with. I always enjoyed days traveling around Colorado doing field work with her, and working on proposals together. She had a quick wit and an artistic eye (as evidenced by all of her beautiful photography). Any time I asked her for advice, she would always tell me with a wink that "giving advice was her favorite thing to do."

As we continued to work together and grow our friendship, I learned so much about her family. I could tell how much each and every person in her family meant to her and how proud she was of everyone- you all were truly the light of her life.

No one was as excited as she was when I told her I was pregnant with twins- she lovingly became my “twin guru”, giving me all of the inside information about growing up as a twin.

I can still hear her voice saying what I lovingly refer to as “Linda-isms”. Right now she’d be saying “that’s rich” at the irony of me writing this- in our working relationship, we had a deal where I’d help her with math and she’d help me with writing.

Although her loss has been incredibly difficult, I still hear her voice quite often and it always brings me a big smile. She will always hold a very special place in my heart.

To celebrate their 50th birth…
To celebrate their 50th birthday in style, Linda and her twin sister, Betty, went sky diving. Linda's brother-in-law, Kevin, jumped with them.
I miss Linda so much there is a hole in my heart.

Linda was born on the coldest day on record. It was -30 F. She had colic and cried for weeks until her grandfather gave her a tiny bit of whisky. She stoped crying.

I am so sorry for your family's loss of a truly remarkable woman. While I did not know her very closely, the many stories I heard from Amy warm my heart and make me laugh- from wanting only blended guacamole at La Fonda and fighting off bees taking Amy's high school senior photos to being the life of the party with silly conversations at Amy's bridal and baby showers, Linda was a bright presence in the lives of her loved ones and will be greatly missed.

As a mother of only boys, Linda so kindly invited me to wedding dress shop with her as Amy married my son Paul. I treasured that so and had so much fun. Playing games and cards with her put me in stitches as she had such a great dry sense of humor. She will so be missed especially by Amy and the two grand babies we share. Hugs and prayers until we meet again.
