Linda's obituary
Linda Diane Fullard daughter of Ps. Robert C. Lewis and Eula B. Wiley was born February 27, 1959 in St. Louis City, Missouri. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus and spent many of her summers selling Evangelistic Literature with her dad and siblings. Linda was very good at her summer job, it was a known fact that Linda was going to outsell the bunch and make Auntie Ellen White very proud.
Linda continued in her passions for God, ministry, and people by graduating from Pine Forge Academy in Pennsylvania and Oakwood College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theology. She was an active participant in the Youth Ministries on campus and served as the Director for Evangelism. She really enjoyed being creative and even took an interest in making floral arrangements for events. Sports weren’t her first love, however Linda had a knack for winning in pingpong as Larry Sr found it hard to catch a win whenever she had the paddles. Linda met Larry Fullard Sr. while at Oakwood and they were united in holy matrimony in June of 1985. This union was blessed with two sons, Larry R. Fullard and Lamar J. Fullard.
Her professional life consisted of working at the Medical College of Georgia as one of the first black female chaplains to complete all core requirements in their program in around 1987. She worked none other than James Brown as Administrative Secretary for one year and Pilgrim Life Insurance as a Claims Adjuster for three years. She enjoyed her work and continued along this path as a dedicated mother and partner to Larry Sr and his Janitorial Cleaning Business.
Her biggest accomplishment, as stated by her, was having her sons. And though life took a turn with the onset of mental illness, she never lost her jovial spirit and vibrant smile. Her generous expression of love to those around her was a constant. Linda lived her life as beautifully as she knew how, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She tragically departed this life Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Lewis and sister, Angela Palmer.
She leaves behind her two sons, parents, and siblings Pamela Nwosu, Ella Hawk, Reginald Lewis and Sheila Baldwin; nieces, nephews, and friends.
May her soul rest in sleep.
