Linda's obituary
Linda (Valentine) (Witte) Dietrich, 76, of Motley, MN, known for her love of animals, nature, her family, and adventurous spirit, died from cancer on February 7th, 2026.
Born and raised in Minneapolis by Gordon and Doris Valentine, she attended Minneapolis Vocational High School for nursing, class of 1967.
In the 80s, she started a woman-owned wallpaper and painting business called Remodeling Potpourri, during a time that had few women in the labor profession. She loved her pets, which were many, including chameleons, birds, fish, cats, dogs, rats, sugar gliders, tortoises and a bearded dragon. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle with the Dry Riders, and her husband Dave. She was an advocate and volunteer for causes involving animals and sobriety.
She is survived by her husband David Dietrich, her sons Nathan Witte, and Derek Witte (and family), her grandchildren, Coleman Witte, Theo Witte, and Rosalie Witte. She is also survived by her siblings Darlene Jorgenson, Mike and Scott Valentine and their children and grandchildren.

Linda was kind, honest, full of life, and truly one of a kind. She will be loved and missed by her family and friends.
