Some of my clearest memories with Grandma Linda include, but are not limited to:

1. Playing dress up with clothes and jewelry in the basement of her house in Page! I even remember what some of the dresses looked like and I have some of those clothes now!

2. Eating candied popcorn and watching Disney family night movies at her house in Page! And always getting caught while sneaking sips of pop from grandma’s mug as it sat on the floor beside her recliner!

3. Summertime. We always had the best summers together! And grandma took me on some awesome trips! And grandma would always ask me to read books everyday when I spent summertime with her and I think that is why I love to read books now!

4. The time I was driving grandma on the 4 wheeler and I freaked out because there was a snake in the road! I let go of the handles and kicked my legs up and covered my eyes and screamed and she had to reach around me to grab control of the 4 wheeler! She told me then that I had a panic button, just like my mother!

5. The time we were hiking around Page and all of the lizards climbed up her shirt when we sat down on a slab of red rocks for a rest and to drink water!

6. Our trip to Nauvoo! Especially Hannibal Missouri and our riverboat tour! And the blue cheese cave in Amish country.

7. My little pink sweatshirt that I still have that she sewed my little kid park ranger badges onto when you guys took me to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons!

8. All of the patience she had when she sat on RuthAnne’s couch and hand sewed the loose Swarovski crystals back onto my wedding dress, the day before I needed to wear it!

9. The beautiful prom dress she made for me by hand! And all of the patience she had and kindness she showed me with that process!

10. When she was my escort in the Salt Lake temple!

11. River rafting and fishing on the Green River!
