Lily Whiteside, a dearly beloved friend and companion, passed away on December 4, 2023. Lily was born on June 15, 2005, and in her 18 years of life, she brought joy, warmth, and the most unique quirks to those surrounding her.

Lily was not particular about the flavor of Sheba cat food she consumed, her enjoyment for any flavor was evident except for salmon pate. She was a simple soul when it came to her choice of beverage - fresh water was her all-time favorite.

Always adored her favorite vacation spots which was any place in close proximity to her human companion. She was more of a homebody, preferring cozy spots in the house over any exotic location. Her favorite color was orange, a hue that perfectly reflected her vibrant and energetic personality.

Describing Lily's personality in words is a tough task. She was a joyous little cat, full of energy and excitement at all times. Her love for face scratches and playing with socks could light up any day, and her loud verbal noises, though missed deeply, will continue to echo in the hearts of her human companions.

Lily was always proud of her achievements, the most notable one being her constant and successful efforts in avoiding getting her feet wet. However, it was her loud vocal noises that will be remembered the most; she always made her hunger and need for face scratches known.

We loved her deeply and her memories will continue to be cherished by those she left behind. Her ability to bring joy, even in the simplest of things, will always be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, dear Lily.
