In Loving Memory of Lily Grace Smith

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Lily Grace Smith, age 16, of Austin, Texas, who left this world too soon on March 8, 2025.

Lily was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. Her kindness, creativity, and laughter filled every space she entered. She was known for her artistic talent, her love of reading, and her deep care for her friends and family.

She adored animals—especially her golden retriever, Daisy—and spent many weekends volunteering at the local animal shelter. Whether she was painting, writing poetry, or simply being a thoughtful friend, Lily had a gift for making others feel seen and valued.

She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Bern and Gabbi Smith; her older sister, Isabella; her grandparents, extended family, and a wide circle of friends and classmates who were blessed by her presence.

A private celebration of Lily’s life was held on Saturday, March 22, 2025. In honor of her love for animals, donations may be made to the Austin Animal Center in her name.

Though her time was brief, Lily's light will never fade. She lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
