So sad to know that Lilly is gone. Our families, which both emigrated to the U.S. from Israel, were very close. I remember enjoying Passover together from probably the age of 6, until quite recently. Lilly was always ahead of her time. She was stylish, smart, honest and independent. We had lunch regularly - usually Chinese food -- when i was in my 20s and 30s. Then, later on, when she lived in Manhattan, we would meet together with my dad, and our good friend Elise - usually Red Lobster. When Lilly passed, on the same day as my dad, it was the end of an important chapter in both our families' lives. I will remember and miss Lilly forever.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Miss Lilly was a wonderful and sweet volunteer for my 1st graders this year. My students loved to see her smiling face and the chance to read with her weekly. She always brought a special treat for them and even made coloring book goodie packages for them during the holidays. I will surely miss her and the smiles she always gave us! Please know you are all in my thoughts as I miss her terribly!

Lilly was an amazing woman. She had volunteered at my school for the past several years. She always wanted to help the children learn to read and to read to them. The kids absolutely adored her! When I would bring her to the classroom the kids would all smile.

I remember one year she bought all the kids in her class a coloring book and markers for the holidays. The smiles on their faces were priceless. But that was Lilly, she always loved to bring in small treats for the kids.

Lilly always took her time to ask me how I was doing and how my children were doing. I always got a hug from her as she came in, I will miss her and her smiling face.

I am so grateful that I got to spend a very special 4th of July weekend with Auntie Lilly last year. She made everyone around her feel so much love and I felt honoured to be introduced to everyone we met as her great-niece from London.
Lilly was generous, funny, and welcomed us into her extended family with open arms. I enjoyed all of the time we got to spend with her, and loved hearing Lilly stories from everyone in her family. I am so sad for everyone's loss - Lilly was a shining light with an amazing life.

When we think of Lilly,
we think of a warm welcoming smile
Eyes that shine with love and pride in her family
and a strong, kind and generous spirit.
We love her and we will miss her.
I only recently got to know Lilly as a friend & neighbor at Abbey Delray South, and was utterly charmed .
She exuded such warmth, compassion and love, I was won over immediately. You who have known her throughout her life are so lucky. She will be sorely missed.

Dear Ones,
Even though I knew Lilly for such a short time, she made such an impact on me and my family, now also your extended family. Her influence will be felt down through the generations to come - she will be a model who held the bar so high!

Love, Nancy

It was a great honour to meet Lilly in New York in 2009, and introduce her to my family. She welcomed us with such warmth, and proudly announced us to the doorman of her building as ‘My family from England!’. My wife Teres and our kids Amy and Luke were thrilled to discover a cousin who lived a few steps from Bloomingdales! Lilly took us to Dylan’s Candy Store, where she insisted on spoiling the children with generous bags of goodies. Then to her neighbourhood pizza place where we ate and were lucky enough to listen to Lilly describe the extraordinary events of her childhood. I had heard about some of it when I was younger, from my dad, but it was fascinating and a huge privilege to hear it from Lilly herself. We met Lilly a couple more times while I was working in NY that year. We kept in touch, and Teres and Amy visited her whilst on a trip to the city shortly before she moved to Florida. Each time we met, Lilly spoke with great pride about her loving family. She will be fondly remembered.
