Most of you might know me as Lillian’s stepson, but some might not know that she was more of a mother to me. She helped raise me through 27 years of the most important parts of my young life. She helped me become an independent, strong, giving person, and most of all how to be a great step parent. I can now reflect on all the challenges she had with me growing up and realize how much harder she had to work as being a step parent and taking in another kid and loving them like her own. That was the great strength of mom. She had one of the biggest hearts I know. I will always remember all the small things she taught me about life and keep those strong in the teaching of my kids. She will be forever loved and missed, but not forgotten in the great life lessons she has taught us all. I also got one of the best sisters anyone can ask for. I love you Lillian!
