Lilia “Lily” Calderón Fernández was two months away from completing her 93rd year of life when she peacefully passed on Friday, January 21, 2022 in Miami, Florida. Lilia was known to have an independent and indomitable spirit. She was strong yet loving and with a sense of humor that never failed to make us laugh. She taught us by her example to speak with conviction, to never ever give up, to be true to ourselves …
