Though met Lester a few times his memories are strongly embedded within. His loving and caring nature, his discussions, his talents, and moreover his great dancing ability and his unique voice will always be remembered.
Last I met him when he came down for Prakash's funeral.

Lester's passing away has come as a great shock to me. Our friendship spanned more than 40 years, right from Std I in St Sebastian GH school, St Xavier's College, to our graduation from SP Engineering college. After our pre sea training, we both joined the Merchant Navy as Marine Engineers in 1978.
We lost touch after our marriage as we were both sailing.
I managed to contact him after I got his number from his brother, Dr Merwyn. I invited him over to my Mumbai place for dinner. This was 3 years ago and our last meeting. I found him in frail health then and his speech was slurred. He told me he hada stroke and this affected him on one side.
I advised him to keep in touch and join our old friends group on Whatsapp. But he was not interested. We lost touch thereafter.
Lester was a friendly, talkative and jovial guy. We would have debates and discussions which sometimes would end in arguments late at night, and each of us would want to have the last word.
I had interacted with his family all through my school and college days, since we were staying close to each other.
He has left behind memories and left an impression that will be long remembered.
My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to his wife Anita, son Rohan, brother Dr Merwyn and sisters Neela and Sharon.
He will forever abide in our hearts.
May his soul Rip.

Missing my dear friend Lester who was with us 6 yrs in our college formation days.We enjoyed his company in play and studies.Lester had a vision and would somehow make things happen his way.He was a dreamer that fueled us to achieve better things.He was determined to achieve his dreams and thats how he achieved his career on board the ship.In good times and tough times we were together .May you RIP .God Bless

Was shocked beyond words after I heard about the sad and untimely demise of our loving cousin Lester. His attributes and intelligence could anytime outwit any famed lawyers though he was a professional Engineer at Sea for his great philosophical thinking and delivering fair verdicts. Very lovable and down to earth person, our cousin Lester will be missed dearly by all his loved ones.

to hear of the sad demise of our loving cousin Lester , we pray that God may rest his soul in peace and solace to the bereaved family. Going down the memory lane , vivid memory - Lester's loving nature showed in action was he signed off from the ship before time just to attend my marriage and gave us all a surprise. The last time we met was here in Bahrain, when he and his family were visiting Anita's sis and family, he walked the extra mile and took time from his busy schedule and came for the month's mind of my mother (his aunt), n when I hugged him he said I will miss mashin aunty when I go to Goa next. I was shocked to hear the news of my cousin Lester's sudden death. We shared so many memories since childhood. I will always remember him as a very kind hearted person, who was ever ready to help everyone. My last meeting with him was in Bahrain where he came for holidays with his wife and son, but he still made time to come for my mother's month mind mass. May his soul rest in peace.

I send my deepest sympathies to his wife Anita and son Rohan, Dr. Merwin and family, Sharon and family, and Neela who have lost a great soul on Earth. But I would like to remind them that they have now gained an angel in Heaven.

The sad news about my cousin Lester's premature demise was a shock to me and my family. Recently he had visited us in Porvorim and when he found that he could not meet my husband, he came again another day only to meet him. Lester liked to keep the family bonding live and was deeply interested in the wellbeing of all.
May God bless his wife Anita and their only child Rohan .
