>Leslie Raymond Junge, 85, of Belmont, passed away on October 27, 2024, after a short and sudden illness. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. His artistic and photographic talents will be forever longed for in the community.

>Les was an obvious artist from a very young age.  His favorite mediums included photography and watercolors.   He loved nature, photographing the wildlife when he traveled, as well as the creatures who frequented his feeders in his yard.  Les fed the neighborhood deer for years, watching as they returned annually to show him their newest babies.  They would lie comfortably in the brush around the feeders, and bang on the lid of the can holding their treats when Les got too busy to put their treats out.   Les was a Belmont police officer, a Navy Seal and a respected member of his community.  His loss is truly and deeply felt by many.  He leaves behind his three adult children, Dave, Chris and Holly and his grandsons.
