I just love Ms. Green and her straight forward answers to anything you asked or what she wanted to say to you. As my mother would say "Honesty is the best policy". Rest easy my friend. -William C. James Jr.-
Auntie is what I called you ... I'm so sad by hearing you are no longer here with us. But I will not be selfish and have my spoiled ways as you always say lol You lived a good life , you was one of the realest women i connected to at DOES . Then later on finding out we were related by marriage made it all so perfect with the connection we had. My Auntie Leslie who Loved me and Brooklyn (my daughter ) so much get your rest and continue to watch over us . I enjoyed talking to you and being encouraged by you . Most of all keeping me laughing just by the tone of your voice or you just talking in general lol. I would always laugh and you would say why you laughing , I would always respond saying Auntie its the way you said it. MISS you and again this is so unreal . I'm saving every text and picture . I must say you enjoyed your life and the work you did at DOES . OMG i can go on and on nd most of all our love for GOGO music ( every time I hear chuck ,suga bear or RE I'm going do my two step for you don't worry lol), traveling and the way you love your kids and grand babies and being Washingtonian. You will Always be remembered and Brooklyn and I love you
I've worked with Leslie for 29 year's, she was a great teammate and friend, her laugh was contagious! I'm going to truly miss her! My prayers and condolences to her children, family, friends and our DOES family!
One of my first colleague/FRIEND at DOES. We watched our children grow together and go to college. We shared our family’s birthdays and holidays, and supported each other through family loss…Leslie was ALWAYS genuine and a consistent friend to me and my family 💜
