I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you because I'm fundraising for the funeral of Leslie Maria Bratton.
Leslie passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 16th. An advocate for those who could not for themselves, Leslie was a spirited grade school teacher and later in life, a Social Worker. She loved animals, flowers, and salsa music. Her smile could light up a room and to say she was friendly would be an understatement. She made friends everywhere.
Leslie was a daughter, sister, and mother. She is survived by her mother, sister and brother, 7 beautiful children and 6 grandchildren. She was always visiting or on the phone with one of them. She loved to tell stories, sharing about those who passed and remembered to celebrate the good times.
Leslie came into my life 9 years ago. She was my mother-in-law-to-be and welcomed me as family from the beginning and I have never felt like anything less. There are no words to express how much Leslie will be missed.
