We are so saddened to hear of Leslie's passing. She was truly one of the most genuine and supportive persons we ever met. We enjoyed our times together which included swim team during our parenting years and later baseball. Leslie embodied what it means to be called the salt of the earth--a person of great worth, kindness, reliability, and honesty--all the while not calling attention to herself. Leslie was a model for us all and will be greatly missed. We have made a donation in Leslie's honor to the Bruns House.

Leslie was a wonderful friend, work colleague, and boss!  I will never forget her kindness, laughter, wisdom, and grace; and I will miss her forever!
Leslie was my college roommate at Brigham Young University for three years. She made college apartment life fun and was the best roommate we could have asked for. I have so many fond memories of the years we lived together at Campus Plaza and the college activities we attended together - concerts, operas, football games, etc. There were many nights of laughter to help us through the hard times and pressures of college life. Laughter makes the world go around. She taught me so many things and will be forever in my heart.
Leslie and her family were my next-door neighbors in Moraga. I recall numerous fun activities at my house and hers with her sisters and brother. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during those years and even when I moved from Moraga, we saw each other and exchanged birthday cards for over 50 years! We both went to BYU and moved to Los Angeles in later years. I was there when she met Gale, the love of her life! When Holly became a part of their lives, the family circle was complete! I will miss my dear friend for her excellent sense of humor, caring personality, intelligence, and passion for all kinds of things. Til we meet again!
This was a beautiful memorial for Leslie. Even though I didn't know her for very long, I feel I got to know her essence through her daughter, Holly. Lucky for me, Holly is my daughter-in-law! Leslie's loving and generous spirit will continue to live on through Holly.
Leslie was one of our faithful Relief Society sisters who took on the charge to take meticulous notes of our meetings and lessons so that those unable to attend could benefit to the fullest extent possible from the sisterhood we share. Leslie was always willing to serve her sisters and always had a smile for us. She is truly missed by the Moraga Ward Relief Society.
I am so sad to hear of Leslie's passing. I worked with her for many years at UC Berkeley (UDAR) and have many good memories of her kindness and warmth. We were always there to help each other figure out any problem that may come up in our work world and she did so with grace and humor. She was a joy. Sending love and comfort to her family. <3
Leslie had this kind, gentle and fun way of interacting with all -- she made everyone feel welcome and good. I especially loved it her mischievous side would make an appearance -- who know what would happen after that!
I worked with Leslie at Berkeley/UDAR for many years -- she was a wonderful, kind person and I loved talking about travel with her and always knew she would greet me with a smile. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
