It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leroy Green on June 12, 2016. Born on March 15, 1961, Leroy left an indelible mark on the world and touched numerous lives with his joyous and bubbly personality.

A loving father and a successful entrepreneur, Leroy, also known as 'Daddy', dedicated his life to the upbringing of his six children and to his three businesses with remarkable dedication. Sadly, preceded in death by his daughter, Ms. Alkonie "Big Mama" Douglas, Leroy is survived by his daughter LaRonica Douglas, who cherishes and carries forward his memory.

Leroy imparted many invaluable lessons in his lifetime, foremost amongst them was his belief in trying to emulate God in all undertakings. His unwavering faith and trust in God were palpable in his actions and demeanor, and he strived to pass down these principles to his loved ones.

His legacy, however, extends beyond his entrepreneurial successes and life teachings. At the core of Leroy's existence was a heart full of compassion; a legacy that continues to resonate amongst family, friends, and all those who knew him. His absence creates a void that is deeply felt, yet his memory continues to inspire, comfort and guide those left behind.

His departure has left many hearts heavy but his vibrant personality, undying spirit, and precious teachings continue to live on. Daddy, you have truly left a void which cannot be filled but your memories are a blessing that will be cherished forever. You will be missed dearly.
