 Leroy "Pops" Gayden, peacefully passed away on Friday, Sptember 16, 2022 at Glen Oaks Nursing Center in Lucedale,MS. Leroy was born on July 4th, 1941 to the late Silas and Letha Otis Gayden. As a very well respected National Guard veteran, he retired from the Collegiate Band Director position to run an air conditioning business (Gayden and Sons) to provide for his family. Leroy requested a private service due to his wife currently being ill, so only family will be allowed. We appreciate everyone in this process as it is hard to fathom the fact of him being gone. Please keep us in your prayers as we will push through and keep his family name in good hands.
