Leroy Davis Gardner, 72, of West Valley City, Utah, passed away suddenly, on July 05, 2023.

Leroy was predeceased by his mother (Madge Donnettie ), father (Leroy), three sisters, and three brothers in law. He is survived by his wife Delores Gardner, their three children Donette Fridley (Asa), David Gardner, and Leon Gardner (Sharon), 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. 

He lived all his life in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over a 30 years time span, Leroy served in the United States military and civilian. Enlisted 2 years in the Army during the Vietnam war. He worked at the Tooele Army Depot until they closed, and at Hill Airforce Base until he retired. During his retirement, he would get a little stir crazy and took on a driving job at O’Reilly Auto Parts. 

Leroy is being cremated and the family does plan to have a celebration of life. 

In leiu of flowers, the family requests that if you have a classic car or motorcycle, please bring them to the celebration of life as this was Leroy’s favorite thing.
