Lenny's obituary
- Leonard "Lenny" Noble, moved to the United States from the UK in the late 1970's and began working as a Boat hand and never looked back. He loved the sea and everything that went with boating - including beautiful women , who seemed to follow him everywhere he went.:) He was an engaging man with a wonderful disposition and a love af laughter like no one I have known. Even through his battle with cancer he laughed, never stopped working and forged ahead without a complaint at the helm in a storm like no other. His dedication to life itself led to him becoming a well-known Yacht Broker and owner of Mares International Catamarans. Lenny was diagnosed with head & neck cancer at the age of 57 and put on a brave face from the first moment. The bravest man we were blessed to know has passed away at the age of 69 after a difficult battle he fought like a warrior with the spirit of optimism until the end.
Lenny did not let his adversity define him and instead threw himself into his favorite passion: Building Yachts. He spent years dedicated to this passion.
Lenny is survived by his sister, nieces and nephews and predeceased Mum who he loved dearly We also want to acknowledge Lenny’s friends as they were his family in America, they stood by him and were incredibly important and supportive of him.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Lenny Joseph Noble.
