Lenny's obituary
Leonard Byron Johnson, affectionately dubbed "Lenny" by those who revved engines and cast lines alongside him, took the ultimate joyride into the sunset on February 2, 2024, in Branson, MO, at the young age of 59. Born in Waterloo, IA, on September 24, 1964, Lenny never met a road he didn't want to explore or a fish he didn't want to outsmart.
Lenny leaves behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and a well-worn leather jacket. His daughter, Samantha will carry on his spirit of adventure, while his brothers, Michael and Curtis will keep his memory alive, probably by retelling the one about the "one that got away."
Before Lenny rode off into the great beyond, he made sure to pack his schedule with good times, leaving us with instructions to celebrate his life rather than mourn it. So, in true Lenny fashion, a Celebration of Life will be held at Crazy Craig's Cheeky Monkey Bar in Branson on March 4th from 4-10 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Lenny would probably say, "Get on your bike and ride, cast a line into the water, and if you catch something, tell 'em Lenny sent ya!" His was a life lived full throttle, and while the ride has come to a gentle stop, the stories and laughter will continue to cruise on.
