I met Leona playing soccer on the field at our elementary school Francis Scott key. She kick me so hard and that’s how we became friends. Lots of great memories as a teenager and riding motorcycles together in San Diego.  Love you onion! Your child hood friend. Garlic.

I am so sad to hear of Leona's passing.  I knew her and Jenny about as long as I have known my parents.  Sadly we could never meet after our teenage years.  I did get to see Leona one time by accident in Miami around 2002 I think. .  I was walking out of the bathroom and I caught a glimpse of her passing by me going to the women's bathroom.  For some reason, I could never forget Leona's face or her beautiful eyes.  I waiting by the exit just to see if it was her.  When she came by I called her name.  She stopped abruptly and asked who I was.  Then she remembered.   It turns out she had a layover before going to California and had gone downtown to look around.  I always wondered if God had done this on purpose or for a reason.  I wish I could have spent more time with her.  Sad to hear she had health issues in her life.  Peace be with her now.
