Leon Wade, 67, of Memphis, TN, passed away on April 27, 2022.

Leon was born on June 12, 1956 to John and Margaret Wade  in Kankakee IL.  In 1999  he met Tina Moore,  and they wed in 2000. Leon was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his daughter Leslie Adams, and son Justin Adams and always tried his best to support them.


Leon was also a passionate Story teller and could often be found laughing and over dramtizing events that happened in his life over the years when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Leon knew that he was the most loving father, friend and husband a family could ask for. Leon was predeceased by his two children Justin and Leslie Adams whom he had with Joyce Adams- Cole. He also left behind his oldest brothers Jonh Wade Jr. and David Wade two sisters Leslie Kay Wade and Whelimina Hudson]. He has 6 grand children and 2 great grand children. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 3612 Queensland Dr Memphis Tn, 38116. There will be a memorial of life on May 7th at 12pm at 3390 Elvis Presley Blvd Memphis,Tn 38116. Their will be no burial.
