It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leon Dowdell, a revered figure in our community, on April 29th, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1958, and through the 67 years of his life, he managed to touch many hearts with his love and warmth.

Leon leaves to mourn his loss, his step-child, Gerald Scott, and son, Leon Scott. He will be remembered fondly not only by them but also by a multitude of friends and relatives who had the pleasure of knowing him. His bright smile and large heart left a lasting impression on everyone he knew.

Unfortunately, Leon was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria Scott, and his adored daughter, Ginger Scott. Their memories were a source of solace for Leon during his final days, and they will be, undeniably, united in peace now.

Leon Dowdell's sheer resilience, kindness, and undying faith have been a beacon of hope for many. He has left a void that will be hard to fill and will always remain in our hearts.

His life and legacy will continue to inspire us all. We take solace in knowing that his journey on earth was filled with purpose and love, and he is now at rest, free from the toils and troubles of this world. We will forever remember him for his unwavering strength, love for his family, and his enduring spirit.
