Leon's obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mr. Leon "Newt" Williams, affectionately known to many as Newt, Uncle Leon or Dea. Williams or just Leon. Born on the 16th of July, 1944, he departed from this world on February 15, 2026.
A man known for his power to light up a room with his humor and charm, Leon lived a lifetime devoted to his loved ones and spent countless days cultivating memories that will forever be cherished. He left a considerable mark on the world during his time with us, imparting wisdom and laughter to all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Leon's legacy is not marked by the accomplishments he achieved in life, but rather the lives he touched along his journey. He possessed the innate ability to make others feel valued and loved, traits that remain living tributes to his character.
We remember and celebrate Leon not only for who he was—a father, a friend, a big brother—but also for the principles he embodied, and the love he shared. His presence in our lives was an enormous gift, one that will continue to inspire and guide us.
Leon's passing leaves an immeasurable void in our lives, yet we find comfort in knowing he lived fully, loved generously, and laughed heartily. His memory will forever be engraved in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who were privileged to have known him.
In the end, while we grieve, we also celebrate a life well-lived and remember Leon with love and admiration. May his journey to the other side be filled with light, just as he filled our lives with light and joy.
