Leon "“Tug”" Charlot, 54, of Lafayette, LA, passed away on May 31, 2022. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 08, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Lafayette  for Mr. Leon “Tug” Bernard, 54, who passed away on Thursday, May 31,2022, in Lafayette. Interment will be in Lafayette  Gardens Cemetery in Lafayette,La.

Father Imoru Godwin of St. Theresa Catholic Church will be officiating the funeral mass.

Cherishing Mr. Charlot’s memories are: his wife, Charlotte Francis-Charlot of Zachery; his daughter, Chelsea Charlot-Bernard (Brian) of New Orleans ; his Son, Kortlyn Charlot (Caleb) of Lafayette four brothers, Donald Charlot (Jackie) of Crowley, Lennis Charlot (Orlean) of Opelousas, Paul Charlotof Lafayette and Jeremy Garrett (Fanchon) of Crowley; three sisters, Goldie Charlot-Bernard of Lake Charles, Gertie Charlot of Redwood, California, and Judy Cormier of Texas City, Texas; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Regina “Rose” Charlot; and father, Charlie Charlot Jr.; one brother, Charles “Bert” Charlot; and two sisters, Thelma Allen and Regina Savoy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday , June 08, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m.
