What were Leon's favorite ways to exercise?

My Dad loved Cross-Country, Track and Field, and Wrestling.  He, along with his brothers, ran for University High School in Saint Louis and had hundreds of trophies and ribbons, many of them first place.

I remember my Dad taking my sister and me in the backyard and teaching us to bat, pitch, run bases, and learn to run laps.  He tried to teach me to ride a bike and triple jump on the sidewalk in front of the house.  I didn't learn how to ride a bike until 6-8 years later...I'm not the best learner....LOL

My Dad was the All-Navy wrestling champion and runner in the Olympics.  I remember him saying, "I could of won."  Eventually, I asked him what happened, and he let me know to win, he had to break the guy's foot, and he didn't want to do that.  (Another showing of his loving-kindness).

Dad went to my son's first wrestling meet and made my Dad so proud!  My son often reflects on this, and it is a foundational memory that keeps him motivated at the collegiate level.  He wrote a song about you, and I'll post it soon.  Love you forever!!!
