Born on January 18th, 1943, to Charles "Leo" and Thelma Beaver, Leon was the eldest son of 11 siblings.

From a young age, he worked alongside his father, developing a remarkable mechanical aptitude. Leon became known as a man who could fix just about anything; "MacGyver-style", and he was always ready to help anyone …
