Lenore's obituary
Dr. Lenore Sheridan Tsang (89) passed away from natural causes at her home in Portola Valley, CA on February 14, 2022. Dr. Sheridan, known to her friends and family as “Lassie” had an illustrious career as a Pulmonologist. She grew up in Hamilton, MT and was a proud graduate of the University of Montana. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University. She was a Fellow in Medicine at the Mayo Clinic and served on staff in 1962.
Dr. Sheridan was a Pulmonologist at Kaiser Medical Center in Santa Clara and helped start their first Pulmonology Clinic. She went onto become the first female Internist at the Palo Alto Medical Clinic and retired as Partner in 1990. She was a Clinical Professor at Stanford Medical Center and retired as Director of the Bloomfield Service in 1986.
She was an avid horseback rider. She served on the Trail Committee of the Westridge Association and where she rode her beloved fox trotter “Dandy”.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Dr. Donald Tsang.
