Lenore's obituary

Lenore "Lennie" Smith, 38, of Alabama, passed away on July 18, 1867 after a long fought battle with yellow fever.

Lenore was born on October 28th, 1830 to John and Mary Williams in Montgomery. After graduating from Hartford High in 1848, she went on to study economics at Pennsylvania University. After graduation, she landed her first job as a Dealer for Jacks Whiskey, kicking off a 6 career as Senior dealer.

In 1852, she met Manuel, and they wed in 1854, going on to have 1 child, George. George passed just 2 years after birth to Smallpox. Lenore lived life to the fullest after losing the job as dealer, by moving on to the Economist position at the World Bank in Huntsville. Manuel and Lenore lived in Huntsville at a grand mansion for the time. Lenore then got diagnosed with yellow fever on March 21st in 1866. this creeping disease caused Lenore to quit her well paying job. Manuel did his best to be a help for Lenore, but  just a year later, on July 18th, 1867, Lenore passed to the hands of her disease. "May Lenore's soul rest well in the hands of god." quoted Manuel. Lenore will live long in our hearts, and may her soul rest in peace.
