Dr. Lenette Burrell, Nursing Professor passed away in Macon on July 4th, 2023 with her daughters at her side.
Dr. Burrell lead a distinguished career that included being awarded the Silver Medallion by the Georgia Heart Association. She is the co-founder of the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in 1974, serving as President 1975-1976. Dr. Burrell is internationally recognized for her scholarship as the editor of the textbook, …
