It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lena Mae Rowland George, 93, who passed peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024. She is now joyfully reunited in heaven with the love of her life, her late husband Markie George Sr., with whom she shared an unwavering bond and decades of cherished memories.
She is survived by her loving family, Patricia Wilson, Cathy Lewis, Tara Davis, Hazel Duarte, and her dearest friend and caretaker Luz Rico.
Funeral services and viewing will be held at Restland Memorial Cemetery in a private ceremony to maintain decorum for our beloved matriarch.
