Leminh's obituary
In Loving Memory of Leminh Phan (1977–2025)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leminh Phan, 47, of Montrose, California, who left us on October 30, 2025 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born on November 1, 1977, Leminh grew up surrounded by love and family. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Binh Viet, and is survived by her parents, Charlie and Khanh, and her younger sisters, Trang and Truong.
Leminh was a woman of remarkable artistic talent, creativity, and imagination. She earned her bachelor’s degree in creative writing and pursued graduate studies in the same field. Professionally, she began her career in accounting before her cancer diagnosis in 2017, and later discovered her true calling in education and art. During her remission, she worked as a teacher’s aide, guiding her young students with patience, warmth, and compassion. Her creative art projects brought joy to the classroom, where she was deeply loved by both students and teachers alike.
Beyond the classroom, Leminh shared her artistic spirit with the world. Through her TikTok account, @EnchantedPaperCottage, she built a community of over 50,000 followers, inspiring countless people with her intricate crafts. She was a vibrant, passionate, and fiercely authentic soul—gentle and nurturing, yet unafraid to stand up for herself and others. To her family and friends, she was a beloved “first child,” a caring older sister, a loyal friend, and a bright, unforgettable presence in every life she touched.
Friends are invited to honor Leminh’s memory by sharing stories, photos, and crafts on her memorial page. Those who wish may also continue her legacy by embracing her spirit of imagination, creativity, and kindness.
Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Leminh’s life, her artistry, and the joy she brought into so many hearts. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn, Glendale, in the Little Church of Flowers.
