Leela Maria Whalen, 57, of Palm City, Florida passed away on June 9, 2023. Leela is survived by her daughter Amy Miller, her three grandchildren, her brother and sister, Bill Miller and Julie Guidera and their children.

Leela was a warm and loving friend to the many people who knew her. Her friends enjoyed spending time with her as she was full of life and had a lot of energy. She had a special compassion and love for her pet dogs and birds and for all animals in general, She found shopping especially enjoyable whether it was shopping for groceries or clothes or anything else. She enjoyed cooking and she had a flair for home decorating. She had a serious passion for cars and knew a great deal about them. She will be sorely missed by all the people whose life she touched.

The family is planning a celebration of life for Leela which will be announced on Leela’s facebook page once the plans have been set.
