Dee, I'm so sorry for you having to be alone at this time.  We all loved Dee and Lee when they were attending church at Nogal.  Much love.

Wescotts,

So sorry for the loss.  So thankful for the job at The Track for several years...your dad and others were always so good to work with employees that were juggling school, sports, a second job, etc.  Great memories despite wearing coaching shorts!

While we had to short of time with Lee, we learned he was a kind and gentle man.  He was loved by all of our staff and we will all miss him.   Skip Irby, Lohmans Crossing Assisted Living, Lakeway, TX

Awesome guy. So thankful for him and his life. His legacy will live on. He touched a lot of people in his lifetime!

Sorry for your loss.   Had the good fortune of working with Lee for a few  years.   He had a high degree of integrity and was good at very deep thinking.   Regret that covid prevented our planned meeting.  A very good man.

What a loss for your family and for Branson.  I met Lee while I was working for Silver Dollar City and a pretty young pup-in the 1980's.   He was gruff, but kind--I know a weird combination.  My sincerest sympathies to the Westcott family, friends and loved ones.
Dee, Tracy, Kendra & Craig:  Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your husband and father.  Lee was a great educator, businessman, all-around good guy and my friend.  God bless you all.
Dee, I am so sorry for your loss.  I only met Lee a few times but he seemed to be a wonderful man.  After reading about his unbelievable  life I wished I had known him better.  If there is anything I can do for you , please just ask.
He was a gentleman in the true sense of the word. I enjoyed and appreciate the brief moments of conversation I had with him. Prayers to the entire family.

I grew up in Eula. My dad was the ag teacher there from 1950 to 1985. I remember Coach Wescott, even though I was in grade school. What a wonderful life he had!  May God comfort his precious family and all his friends.

Dee, I'm sure you don't remember me, but I met you when you lived in Big Spring and attended First Methodist Church.  I knew Lee when I was in McMurry and was in Kappa Phi with Jane and Betty.  Dorothy was a Kappa Phi alumnus at that time and married to the son of one of my Big Spring mentors in First Methodist, Madge Vaughan.  After Lee finished at McMurry, he taught at Eula (where I spent grades 1-12)  and was so loved by my younger siblings.  I held the Wescott family in high esteem and still think of all of them often.   My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family!

Sincerely,  Jobeth (Bentley) Corwin and Tommy

I am so sorry to hear about Lee. What a gentleman and great person who lived a blessed life. Dee you are in my thoughts and prayers.
How lucky is the child to have known the love of a great father. Wonderful tribute to your dad and my sincerest condolences ❤️
Dee, I never had the opportunity to meet Lee but he sounds like an extraordinary man. I’m sure there was never a dull moment for any of you. Very sorry for your loss. Some day I’d like to play dominoes with him.

Oh Dee, Tracy, Kendra, Craig-Please KNOW how your Dad was loved by many.  He made a difference for good in so many lives.  I'm so thankful & blessed to have known him (& all of you).  His was a life well lived.  Prayers for God's peace & comfort.

Craig, you are so your dad’s son!  What a beautiful life’s story you have shared with us—we may not have known your dad personally, but we can tell what a wonderful man he was.

AND Eula, TX?  My dad graduated from Eula, and I grew up in the next community.   It is indeed a small world.

May the next days be times of remembering and laughs and family.

Dear Dee, Tracy, Scott, Kendra, Kirk, Craig, Amy, Caroline, Truman, Claire and Hudson,

I know Lee’s absence leaves an enormous hole in your hearts and lives. I hope your memories bring you solace and that you continue to feel his great love for all of you forever. I will always remember the lessons he taught and the care he showed me.  He was a giant in many ways. With much love and lots of tears, ❤️ Karen.
