Retired SMSgt Lee Trammell Smith Sr. , passed at his home on Dec 23, 2025. Mr Smith is survived by a wife Grace Smith, a son, Lee Trammell Smith Jr. (Julie) of Georgia; two daughters, Brenda Bell (John) of Delaware ; & Lurleen Smith of Georgia ; five grandchildren. He was the son of the late Elizabeth Trammell Smith and Theo Smith.

Mr Smith was born in Langdale, AL and served in the US Air Force for the Department of Defense as a Communications Engineer for more than 20 years. After retiring from the Military he worked with the United States Postal Service. He was awarded for Special USAF Communication and Radar Tracking Projects. He successfully led Communication Squadrons around the Globe. He was a member of Langdale Baptist Church.
