Lee Roy "Pip" Pipkin passed away on September 21, 2025, surrounded by his children, and his niece Ardie.

He is survived by his children, JD Testa, Marion Pipkin-Weaver, and Garrett Pipkin, and by his grandchildren, Jake Testa, and Kennedy Testa, as well as cousin Rick Slater. He was preceded in death by his sons, Gregory Testa and Joseph Testa and best friend and cousin Alex Hosmer Slater.

A proud Vietnam combat war veteran, he honorably served both in the Marines and then the Army as a LRRP (Ranger). Lee Roy lived his life by the strict adherence to the love of  "God, Family, and Country" until his last breath.  

Burial services will be held on January 24, 2026, at 2:00 p. m. at Santa Cruz Memorial Park, 1927 Ocean Street Extension, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.

A Celebration of life will be held on January 24, 2026, at 4:00p.m. at the VFW Santa Cruz, 2259 7th Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
