We regretfully announce the passing of Lee "Tracy" Lunsford Jr. on October 27, 2024. Better known as Tracy, he was born on February 12, 1967, and lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, and love.

Tracy was a ray of sunshine, his personality often described as caring, fun, loving, and goofy. He had a penchant for the fantastical, his favorite books filled with science fiction and comic book lore. His love for the imaginative narrative extended to his favorite TV shows, which were predominantly anime.

Tracy had a zest for life that included enjoying the thrill of rock concerts. In his quieter moments, he was often found engrossed in playing video games or appreciating the simplicity of fishing. His favorite vacation spot was the beach, where he basked in the serenity of the ocean.

Tracy is survived by his son, Nathan Lunsford, and his child, Jai Lunsford. He also leaves behind his father, Lee Lunsford, and his brother, Benjamin Howard Lunsford, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, uncles and aunts. He joins his predeceased mother, Beatrice Staley, step-mother, Laura Lunsford., and step-father Wayne Staley  

Tracy had a heart as vast as the universe he loved in his books and shows. His absence will be deeply felt by those who were fortunate to know him and share in his life's journey. His loving spirit will continue to live on in those he left behind, a beautiful reminder of a life well lived and a man deeply loved.
